A Wild(life) Day In Kodiak

Momma brown bear with two cubs.

A visit to the second largest island in the United States would not be complete without viewing the wildlife of land and sea. Walk the trails in Fort Abercrombie State Park to get to the beach and go tidepooling at low tide in the morning, then meet with a guide to watch the large Kodiak brown bears in the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge in the afternoon.
