Welcome to the Dalton Highway Discoveries, a series of 24 videos that takes you on a journey along the Dalton Highway.

Beginning near Livengood, the Dalton Highway winds 414 miles north across the mighty Yukon River, through the rugged peaks of the Brooks Range, and down the North Slope to Deadhorse and the Prudhoe Bay oilfields. This highway was built to support construction of the trans-Alaska Oil Pipeline and now serves as the lifeline to get supplies to operations on the North Slope. For many, it also opens up access to millions of acres of remote, wild lands.
